The Good:
We got vaccinated in February and March
Vaccination lead to being able to take a few enjoyable vacations
Wax Bodega was born
Chloe made not one, but two late night TV appearances
The donut shop was able to work up to being open seven days a week again
Our artists began playing shows and even touring again with few COVID issues
My management and respective labels grew and continued to find success despite COVID
Grace got a new job
Got a few more gold plaques
Expanded the types of workouts and mostly kept to a steady routine, despite travel being reintroduced into my life
Returned to London for the largest tour of my career
The Bad:
Post-vaccine work and travel took a toll after enjoying a more settled lifestyle
Aspects of physical health worsened over the past year
Interfamily relationship stress
Juggling the desire for business growth with and against the desire and need to do less
2022:
Continue to reevaluate lessons from quarantine, like having better boundaries around work and travel
Find a way to play tennis again, despite my partner moving cities
Take a larger scaled vacation/trip from home
Make it a point not to try too many new things, and instead continue refining what I have in front of me
End of the Year:
2021 was a much more difficult year for me than 2020 was, despite all the good news that came from vaccinations. I’m hoping 2022 can be more calm.
As always, I’ve published lots of media, data, and other information from my personal life this year, which all can be found below:
Activity Log: Dining and flying are back!
The Year in Music: Find my top ten releases, everything I listened to, and everything I worked on.
Shows: Gigs are back. I went to 36 of them.
Works: The biggest addition has been Wax Bodega, which I’m so thrilled exists.
Enjoy Philadelphia: Updates continue, but are less plentiful due to COVID-19.
Quarantine Media Diet: I kept a Media Diet for a second (and final) year.
