Spread was dreamed up to be a better advance music delivering platform for labels, publicists, and artists compared to other contemporary services. The project never got off the ground.
CreativeLive Podcast Network
One of two short lived projects of 2014, CreativeLive Podcast Network was an idea dreamed up following the launch of Off The Record and my obsession with podcasts. I removed myself from the process of launching the network due to being pulled in too many directions with PropertyOfZack, Synergy Artist MGMT, Bad Timing, Jade Tree, and college. The baton was passed to Ray Harkins, but the CreativeLive Podcast Network was never officially launched. Jabberjaw Media spiritually went on to birth what was behind my original inspiration.
I was hired by Jade Tree in June 2014 to re-launch the iconic punk and hardcore label following a period of hibernation. Darren Walters, the label's co-founder, was my school professor at Drexel University, which lead to our teaming up. I stopped working at the label in August 2015 following a breaking down of our internal processes. I was involved in these releases:
- Dark Blue - Pure Reality
- You Blew It - Pioneer of Nothing
- Spraynard - Bench, Mable
- Socialite - I See You/I Don’t Care
- Dogs on Acid - Dogs on Acid
- The Promise Ring - 30° Everywhere, Nothing Feels Good, Very Emergency (Reissues)
- Jade Tree - Twenty Five Years
Off The Record
Off The Record was a podcast centered on music, technology in music, and the changing music industry created by Jesse Cannon and myself. The first episode launched on April 28th, 2014 and the last episode of my co-hosting run was on August 6th, 2015. Jesse Cannon continues to host the podcast without me. The ending of my run tenure on the show was timed with PropertyOfZack's closure and the starting of my work for Procrastinate! Music Traitors.
